WILDERNESS WATERWAYS BEYOND THE HIGHWAYS
K.C.R. LANDING and CAMP GROUNDS is a real wilderness camp, located 54 miles northwest of Kenora, Ontario on the famous Winnipeg River, which is far removed from civilization and surrounded by virgin lakes and forest. The abundance of fish and game to be found can make any sportsman's dream come true.
GREAT VARIETY OF FISHING
Enjoy fabulous fishing for walleye, northern, and smallmouth bass. Fish the swift and turbulent waters below two dams and several falls. Fish the slow currents at a number of creek mouths or the quiet lakes with their hundreds of bays and islands, plus miles and miles of rocky shorelines.

Personal Life Vest, Cooler, Duffel Bag w/Personal Clothing, Fishing Gear: Plain Leadhead Jigs with twister tails, Rapallas, Buzz Baits, Shadraps, Dare Devils, Rattle Traps, Mepps Spinners, Rain Suit, Boots, Camera and Film, Insect Repellent.
- Be sure to get your fishing licenses before leave town.
COMFORTABLE CABINS
Eat hearty! You can go back to diets when you get home. Each party has it's own tidy sleeping cabin, equipped with comfortable beds, wool blankets, cold running water, electricity, and refrigerator to keep your refreshments cool. Central showers provide plenty of hot water at any time.
OTHER SERVICES
Tent camping and trailer park. Electrical outlets- running water, central shower room. Docking and boat launching facilities. fish freezing, gas and oil-for outboards and cars.
HOW TO REACH US...
Drive to Kenora, Ontario then take HWY 596, 2 miles west of Kenora or bypass Kenora on 17A until you come to 596 and turn right. In approximately 20 miles you'll cross a railroad track just before arriving at the Minaki Junction. At that point, you'll see a sign with directions to Minaki. Take a hard left onto Whitedog Falls Road. Approximately 17 miles later you will cross a dam. K.C.R. landing is just 2 1/2 miles after you cross the dam. The landing road is on the left.
